Consistency is the buzzword Ryan Garner is adhering to these days as the one-time teen talent, who has matured into a more seasoned version of himself, closes in on realizing his potential and entering into title contention.

A victorious male boxer stands in a ring, holding up gloved fists and wearing multiple championship belts. People celebrate in the background, some hugging and smiling. The boxer appears sweaty and determined.

“I am just happy to be staying busy now,” stated the Southampton native, who defeated the 9-1 Pedro Manuel Gomes in Birmingham in November 2021 and followed up with an impressive points victory over Christian Lopez Flores in July 2022; and busy Ryan has been.

As Ryan continues on this active streak, ‘The Piranha’ is applying himself to his craft like never before, and his application finally matching up to his obvious talent is a heady mix that should see him progress upstream into deeper, more dangerous waters.

“It is all looking good, and I am raring to go again. I have been the lightest I have ever been throughout, and making weight has been easy because I have stayed on it. Everything is just working out really well, and I am buzzing to keep busy from now on.”

“In the gym, I am feeling so strong at the moment, I am firing on all cylinders, and I am looking forward to the next one.”

With this renewed focus in and out of the ring, Ryan recently met with his promoter, Frank Warren, to map out future plans and finalize contract details, marking the third agreement between the fighter and promoter.

“We obviously had a good chat, and it is all positive. They have got everything lined up for me, and the next one could potentially be for a title.”

“It is not far away now. I have signed a new contract with Frank, and everything is looking good for me. In previous years, I have just been coming through really. Now, with this new contract, it is a step up right from the get-go. These next two to three years are going to be the most crucial of my career.”

“I want to get in the rankings and get some sort of title to show for what I have done.”

“In my performances, you will see that everything is there and in place now, physically and mentally. I feel much better. You will see the best of me. This will be the complete package!”
